    This seminar intended for the non-patent practitioner and will provide a primer of intellectual property law basics regarding the USPTO practice and how it may apply to your inventions. Topics include how applications are prosecuted by the PTO from filing through to grant including; Statutory Subject Matter of what can and cannot be protected, Prior Art, Disclosure Requirements, Duty of Disclosure, Inventorship and other issues. We will discuss some practice tips in working with attorneys and strategies for avoiding common pitfalls that can jeopardize your intellectual property rights as applied to software/computer innovations.
