About This Session
Scala is a really fun programming language! From coding HTML5 games to writing Android apps, there are lots of fun things you can do with it. Combining the power of Scala with the simplicity of the language produces amazing results. I will start this talk with some live coding to introduce programming in Scala. In this talk, I will show a HTML5 game written in Scala with the help of Scala.js and live code an Android app. In addition, I will show Minecraft mods written in Scala.
