Annie Bubinski
A Community Evangelist for Microsoft in Silicon Valley, Annie brings Microsoft tools and resources to the developer community. Annie started her career at Microsoft straight out of university as a collegiate hire. Since the beginning, she has developed a community of technical influencers from universities and organizers in the Bay Area. In her college years, Annie studied Industrial and Systems Engineering at USC and is an avid Trojan fan. In her free time, she enjoys cooking and exploring local cuisines in San Francisco.

  • My First Website: Pokémon Go Make A Website

    Learn the basics of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to create a Pokémon themed website. I’ll go over how to add your favorite Pokémon, animate images, and add videos to your locally hosted website. Best for students 12+. Computer needed. Prior to coming: please download Visual Studio Code (available for Windows, OS, and more) at www.code.visualstudio.com to be prepared for the workshop.

  • Minecraft Hour of Code

    1:15 PM Sunday   Room: RE-301
    Learn the basics of programming by assisting Alex or Steve through a Minecraft adventure. Drag and drop pieces of code based in Java Script to solve the puzzles. For ages 6+. Computer or mobile device (cell phone or tablet) required for browser use. Please make sure you can access www.code.org before the session.
