  • Combine the power of Win8 and Windows Azure cloud to modenize traditional Line-of-Business apps

    5:00 PM Saturday   Room: 4223
So you heard about Windows 8 is coming, and Windows Azure is powerful, how do they relate with your current Line-of-Business(LOB) apps that you have developed a while ago and you still seek rooms for improvement? Have you thought about how to leverage these two powerful new platform(one at the client side and one at the cloud side)to modernize your LOB apps and create new and cool business capabilities? In this session, I will present a solution architecture to enable the integration across Win8 store apps, Windows Azure cloud services and traditional enterprise apps(either MS or non-MS). I will cover design patterns, demo the solution and show some codes. I also encourage you to share your thoughts and ideas in this new app integration whitespace during the session.
