Project Easel - Developing and managing HTML5 in a Java world
5:00 PM Saturday Room: 4302We've all lived through trying to fine tune CSS and JavaScript applications in browser tools, only to have to copy and paste the changed values back to your orrginal source code in the IDE so you can finalize the application look and feel. This session will discuss current trends in HTML5 / CSS3 / JavaScript application development including responsive CSS layouts for multi-format displays. We will show how the new NetBeans Project Easel allows a developer to create and manage client side HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript applications. Details on working with the JavaScript library manager; code completion for HTML5, JavaScript, and jQuery; CSS styling of dynamically generated content, browser integration for fine tuning CSS, and JavaScript debugging.
