Speaking Sessions

  • Survey of Cloud Platforms

    10:45 AM Sunday   Room: 5015
There are dozens of hosted Cloud Platforms ( IaaS and PaaS) to choose from. Examples such as Azure, Heroku, PHPFog, Force.com, Engine Yard, AWS, Rackspace Cloud, GoGrid & OpSource are just a few. There are dozens more, plus there is software you can use to run your own Cloud. So what is the right cloud platform for you? In this session, Dave Nielsen (facilitator of more than 100 CloudCamps around the world) will go beyond the popular platforms to explain what is working now and where the market is likely to go. Attendees of this session will be given an opportunity to share their experiences with Cloud Platforms and contribute to Dave's List of Cloud Platforms.
