The Eclipse Rich Client Platform is a component framework with the ability to deploy native GUI applications to a variety of desktop operating systems, such as Windows, Linux and Mac OSX with an integrated update mechanism for deploying desktop applications from a central server.
In this session you'll learn how to develop complex desktop application prototypes based on the Eclipse Rich Client Platform. In this session we will cover the use of Flex and Bison to create a command line interface parser for embedded devices. Techniques will range from basic parenthesized nesting and variable substitution to named parameters and more advanced CLI features.
