3:45 PM Saturday Room: 4218WidgetFX is an open-source framework that is built on Sun's new JavaFX RIA platform and allows you to deploy your applications as desktop widgets. It ships with several configurable, skinnable widgets and has a growing repository of user-created widgets, from performance monitors to streaming video.
This session is aimed at Java developers who want to learn the basics of how to write JavaFX applications that also can be deployed as desktop widgets.
